Leroy Nesbitt, Jr. is a graduate of Middlebury College and Howard University School of Law. For more than thirty years, he has dedicated his career to the education industry, supporting students, families, K-12 schools, and colleges. His leadership reflects the values of organizations like InspireED, emphasizing equity, access, and empowerment in education.

Leroy’s work in education includes roles and consulting engagements with Howard University, Middlebury College, College for Every Student, the DC Higher Education Commission, the University of Cincinnati, the Black College Common Application, the United States Department of Commerce, the Dianne Princess of Wales Memorial Fund (US), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and the Daniel Alexander Payne Community Development Corporation.

A trailblazer in college access, Leroy has helped thousands of students and families navigate pathways to higher education. His development of initiatives like Ernst and Young's college access programs and the African Diaspora College Access Program aligns with InspireED's mission to empower communities and support educational advancement for all.
